This is our fourth Beak> studio album, playfully titled >>>>. From the beginning, we envisioned this project as head music – something to be enjoyed as a complete album rather than just a collection of singles. That's why we're so excited to share it with you without any singles or promo tracks! We kicked off the writing and recording in a cozy house called Pen Y Bryn in Talsarnau, Wales, during the unique times after COVID. Surrounded by the beautiful view of Portmeirion and just the two of us, we really dug into our work. The journey started with our opening track, "Strawberry Line," a heartfelt tribute to our furry friend Alfie Barrow, who graces our album cover. Following that spark, we moved back to Invada studios in Bristol to continue recording, all while touring across Europe and North/South America. After performing at countless gigs and festivals, we felt that our travels were guiding our writing in ways that made us lose touch with our true selves. So, we returned to our roots, just like when we created our first album – free from expectations and enjoying the simple joy of playing together in a room. We truly hope we've captured that spirit this time around!
