WHY? — the hip-hop influenced indie-pop band led by Yoni Wolf — performed at Third Man Records’ Nashville Blue Room just two months after their first release in five years, Moh Lhean, made its debut.
Although there was no geographical tie, the evening felt like a homecoming. The Wolf brothers and their prolific nature have been on Third Man’s radar for some time, and the quartet’s family-like vibes emanated from the Blue Room stage, prompting the audience to sing along in harmony by the night’s end.
