 The Vaselines' Dum-Dum is the definitive full-length statement from the alternative rock band. Recorded in Edinburgh's Chamber Studios between late '88 and '89, this album was produced by the band and Jamie Watson. The Way of the Vaselines: A Complete History included the entire record! Unknown musicians contribute synthesized strings to "Slushy" and Indian-inspired sounds to "Lovecraft." Other Dum-Dum tracks include "Bitch," "Dying for It (The Blues)," "Let's Get Ugly," and the already-released "Teenage Superstars" from the 1988 EP Dying for It. In 2018, Dum-Dum was re-released on clear vinyl for Record Store Day.
