Stereolab is reissuing seven of their studio albums as 2LP editions. These editions use the same remasters as the 2019 expanded album releases, cut from the original 1/2" tapes by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering and supervised by Tim Gane, but they lack the bonus material from the discontinued 3LP versions. The aim is to provide more cost-effective options of these in-demand titles for fans and retailers. Each record is packaged in a single 5mm printed sleeve with printed inner sleeves, along with a protective PVC outer bag. Sound-Dust is Stereolab's seventh studio album, originally released in 2001.
