Indigo Sparke, an Australian folk artist, channels her personal struggles into her music, beautifully weaving together the seemingly opposite qualities of softness and grit. From addiction, healing, queerness, heartbreak, joy, connection, to tenderness, her music taps into a range of emotions with undeniable potency.

Indigo honed her guitar skills in her early twenties and soon made her mark on the Australian music scene, releasing her EP Night Bloom in 2016. From there, Indigo's career blossomed as she opened for Big Thief on their Australian tour in 2017/2018 and later performed at South by Southwest in 2019. NPR's Bob Boilen was captivated by Indigo's powerful lyrics and performance, praising her ability to "cut hard and comfort" and seamlessly transition between reverb-drenched and airy moments. Indigo's success continued into 2020 with a February Tiny Desk Concert and an opening spot on Big Thief's sold-out tour of Australia and New Zealand, including a highly anticipated performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House. However, the outbreak of Covid-19 has resulted in major changes for Indigo's plans.
