From the heart of Oxford, England comes Foals: an electrifying and innovative five-piece dance-rock group. Combining the experimental essence of composer Steve Reich, the unique flair of Andy Roddick, and their own signature touch, Foals' sound is unlike any other. With driving rhythms, intricate guitar melodies, and bursts of synth, their music is a finely-tuned masterpiece. According to lead singer and guitarist Yannis Philippakis, the guitars are meant to emulate the sound of insects, adding a captivating harmony to their tracks. Antidotes, Foals' highly anticipated album, was recorded in the vibrant city of Brooklyn, NY with renowned producer and guitarist David Sitek. Delving into the studio for five weeks, the band also collaborated with special guests such as the horn section from Antibalas and vocals from Katrina Ford of Celebration.
