「Cemetery」は、Silverchair の 1997 年のアルバム Freak Showからの 3 番目のシングルです。このシングルは、オーストラリアのシングルチャートで 5 位になり、ゴールド認定を受けました。

「Cemetery」はもともと、フロントマンのダニエル・ジョンズが自宅にいる間にソロのアコースティック曲として作曲したものです。もともと、ジョンズはそれをシルバーチェアのアルバムに含めるつもりはありませんでした。インタビューで、彼は当初、バラードを作成したことで嘲笑されるのではないかと恐れて、その柔らかく繊細な性質のために、バンドメイトにさえ「Cemetery」を提示することに不安を感じていたことを明らかにしました。しかし、ジョンズがバンドメイトのためにソロのアコースティック録音を演奏すると、彼らはそれを非常に楽しんだので、ジョンズはそれをフリークショーに含めるのに十分な自信を持っていました。
