Motionの役割は、1986年2月のイギリスの堅い記録、およびMCAレコードの北米で発売された注文によるEPです。英国のシングルチャートを作るのはバンドの最初の独身でした。 EPは「ロンドンの女の子」、「Sohoの雨の夜」、「アメリカンの体」と「Planxty Noel Hill」を特徴としています。曲は1985年8月にプロデューサーElvis Costelloと一緒に記録されました（ニューヨークのおとぎ話の女性のCait O'Ryordanがデュエットの女性部分を歌っているバスプレーヤーのCait O'An）とのカバー版を作成しました。 Lovin 'spoonfulの歌「あなたは魔法を信じますか」。両方のトラックはEP上で特徴を描くことを意図していましたが、最終的にはそれを残しました。
