Night Moves, released in 1976, is Bob Seger's ninth studio album and his first with the Silver Bullet Band. Much of it was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, featuring the renowned Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section. This pivotal album, rich in both power and personal sentiment, received extensive critical acclaim and included hit singles like "Night Moves," "Mainstreet," and "Rock and Roll Never Forgets." It marked Seger's second album to achieve gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, as well as his first to earn platinum certification.
