While grateful for the opportunities with Procol Harum, Trower's creative guitar talents were limited in the band. He eventually made the bold decision to pursue a solo career, resulting in his second album, Bridge of Sighs. Released in 1974, this album was a breakthrough moment for Trower, featuring iconic songs such as "Bridge of Sighs", "Too Rolling Stoned", "Day of the Eagle", and "Little Bit of Sympathy".
