Billy Preston was an accomplished American musician with a diverse range of talents, spanning R&B, rock, soul, funk, and gospel. In the 1960s, he established himself as a top session musician, lending his skills to legends such as Little Richard, Sam Cooke, The Rolling Stones, and even the Beatles, who credited him on one of their recordings. Although his solo career gained momentum in the 1960s, it was his soulful work in the early 1970s that solidified his permanent place on the musical map.

You Can't Keep a Good Man Down was one of Preston's final studio albums and originally came out in 1986. ''What About The Love'' was released as a single.

The album is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on pink and purple marbled vinyl.
