Under the Big Black Sun, the outstanding third studio album by American rock band X, was released in 1982 and is often considered their finest work. Featuring 11 exceptional tracks, the album showcases the band's impressive performance and composition skills.

Tragedy struck when singer Exene Cervenka's sister was killed by a drunk driver. The band chose to channel their grief into their music, resulting in two standout tracks: the melodic "Riding With Mary" and the 50s-inspired "Come Back to Me."

The album was produced by Ray Manzarek, co-founder of The Doors, and the cover art illustration was created by Alfred Harris. Under the Big Black Sun is now available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on turquoise colored vinyl, complete with an insert.
