Forming bonds in their alma mater in Houston, Sabrina Ellis (vocals), Andrew Cashen (vocals/guitar), and Orville Neeley (drums) began their journey playing covers of the likes of AC/DC, The Ramones, Joan Jett, and the best Back to the Future tunes at school dances (under the name Youth In Asia). When they reunited in Austin in 2008, they brought along their pals/friends Andy Bauer (guitar) and Graham Low (bass). And so, A Giant Dog was born!

AGD's raucous auditory treats come straight from the bombastic melodies of Slade, the glam-swagger of Bolan, Alice Cooper's killer-esque fantasy, and Sparks' unpredictable wit. Sabrina and Andrew's provocative words—part brutally honest, part witty, part taboo—know just how to take their eccentricities and make 'em universally felt. These bops are for the underdogs, freaks, and rejects. The lonely. The desperately horny. Boozers and partying types. No other band speaks louder to the souls of slackers, rejects, rockers, sluts, and creeps like A Giant Dog.

Never place it next to a Justin Bieber record.

Treat it like your grandma, you know if she was a record. Know what I mean? Tender care, don't talk back, and never interupt during Murder She Wrote. Wait - what the hell was I writing about-
