This 2015 record is the sixth release from Great Lake Swimmers, a critically acclaimed Canadian band. Titled A Forest Of Arms, it follows their previous album, New Wild Everywhere, which was nominated for both a Juno Award and a Polaris Music Prize in 2012. Returning to their roots, lead singer Tony Dekker incorporates elements of naturalistic folk and records in unique locations to create some of their most dynamic songs yet. The album continues the band's themes of beauty in nature, environmental awareness, and the importance of personal connections.
