Houdini is Melvins' fifth studio album, released on September 21, 1993. It marked the band's major label debut and includes singles "Hooch," "Lizzy," and "Honey Bucket," each with a music video. "Night Goat" is a re-recording of a 1992 single and the album also features covers of Kiss' "Goin' Blind" and MC5's "Rocket Reducer no. 62." With co-production from Nirvana's Kurt Cobain on six tracks, Houdini has become a classic album and is consistently included on "best of" lists by musicians and magazines worldwide. This limited edition release is pressed on purple and red marbled vinyl, with a linen laminate gatefold.
