Gilberto With Turrentine is an incredible fusion of jazz, pop, and tropicalia from Astrud Gilberto and Stanley Turrentine. When released by Creed Taylor of CTI Records in 1971, the album marked a pivotal meeting of the minds between Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer Astrud and American saxophonist Stanley. The lineup of jazz all-stars included Airto Moreira, Ron Carter, Sam Brown, Hubert Laws, and Toots Thielemans, all of whom contributed to this remarkable album. Iconic Astrud was internationally renowned for her hit "The Girl from Ipanema," while Stanley's signature, earthy blues style and exceptional jazz skills have placed him among the genre's greatest.

Gilberto With Turrentine is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent green-colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
