Dawes - Oh Brother- Turmeric Color Vinyl Record

For the first time in nearly a decade, brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith are featured on the cover of a Dawes record. This time around, it's just the two of them, creating a unique and exciting new chapter for the California-based rock band. The album, titled Oh Brother, strikes a perfect balance between introspection and accessibility, while still showcasing the sincere and beloved sound that fans know and love. Oh Brother is a clear step forward for Dawes, honoring over 15 years of musical collaboration between Taylor and Griffin, as well as paving the way for the next era of their band. Each of the nine songs on the album began with Taylor on guitar and vocals, accompanied by Griffin on drums. The brothers then added in additional instrumentation and worked with touring guitarist Trevor Menear in the studio. And for the first time, the brothers have co-produced the record, teaming up with longtime friend Mike Viola for a truly special and unique creation.
