We're thrilled to celebrate the 50th Anniversary Remaster of the debut album from the band's very own label, Grateful Dead RECORDS! This special edition comes as we remember the beloved founding member Ron "Pigpen" McKernan and while drummer Mickey Hart is temporarily away. This 1973 release showcases a vibrant new lineup featuring the talented Keith and Donna Godchaux joining on keys and vocals. You'll find outstanding tracks like "Eyes Of The World," "Stella Blue," and "Mississippi Half-Step " included. The 50th Anniversary Remaster has been beautifully crafted by David Glasser, with meticulous tape restoration and speed correction from Plangent Processes. David Lemieux has expertly produced this fantastic release.
